These Terms & Conditions govern your use of CemeterySales.com and the appraisal and resale services offered through it. By requesting an appraisal or contacting us, you agree to these terms.

Appraisal services

CemeterySales.com provides certified written appraisals of cemetery property intended to be acceptable to the IRS in connection with charitable donations. We complete and sign IRS Form 8283 and furnish a qualification statement supporting the value reported. The appraisal reflects the highest value we can reasonably verify; it does not guarantee any particular tax outcome.

Not tax or legal advice

We are not your accountant, attorney, or tax preparer. Nothing on this site or in an appraisal constitutes tax, legal, or financial advice. You should present the completed Form 8283 and appraisal to your own CPA or tax preparer, who is responsible for the preparation and filing of your return.

Fees

Appraisal fees are a fixed fee and are not based on the amount of your deduction or the number of cemetery products appraised. Current rates, scheduling, and rush options are available by phone at 1-800-550-6325.

Accuracy of information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about the property, its acquisition, and the receiving organization. Inaccurate information may affect the appraisal or its acceptance by the IRS.
